We’re extremely excited to announce the launch of Code Convoy, a free day-long event where attendees work through a self-paced curriculum with instruction and support from some of the area’s top developers, designers and their peers. Instructors will available all day to give support, guidance and to answer any questions attendees may have. Students are able to choose between two main paths for the day; Ruby on Rails or HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The first event is going to be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at 9:00am at NWTC’s Corporate Conference Center.
This event is for anyone age 18+ who wants to try out web design or development as a potential career path. We don’t assume any previous knowledge, but we strongly encourage a deep interest in technology, problem solving and learning new things.
We love our community here in Northeast Wisconsin and are looking forward to helping build it through Code Convoy and more events that help expose, educate, & engage people with online, startup, and tech careers.
